Getting short!

My replacement got here on Monday, so we've been doing a lot of training. The more I teach him, the more I realize that I've learned in the past 6 months. Monday night I was presented with a coin from our General for one of my projects, and I had no idea that it was coming! That was a great surprise and I was quite honored to receive it. Then we had the Hail/Farewell ceremony, and my boss said a bunch of nice things about me. I've heard compliments while being here, but it's always nice to hear it again. After it was over, my replacement was like "wow I have some big shoes to fill!" I thought that was really funny b/c I don't think it takes brain surgery to do what I do! Plus, he's an O-3 coming in, and I started doing this job as an O-1... It does take people skills and patience for sure though! I work/worked with a great team and will definitely miss their great attitudes and all the fun!
