Angels!

Things are going well here. Work is very busy, and I’m having “fun” learning Access. I’m able to see a direct correlation to the things that I’m working on here to the war effort and that is VERY rewarding. Last night I was so tired (after basically no sleep the night before) and I was sitting in my chair with my head tilted all the way back. I was staring up at the HUGE beautiful ceiling chandelier. One of the Majors walked by and said “Come on, you haven’t even been here a week, you can’t have that look yet!” It was pretty funny. God is definitely at work in protecting a lot of us because I heard an explosion yesterday that rattled the building just a little. The TSgt I work with wasn’t worried at all. He said it was probably a couple miles away! At church on Sunday a guy told us that his division was protected by God because an explosion went off a few seconds before they would have stepped on it and died! Meanwhile, I sit in my office safe… Well, physically safe – the mental side of things can be a bit daunting sometimes, especially when I’m tired. I just keep reminding myself that God is in control and I can learn this stuff!
