Happy Easter!

The Lord is Risen!!! What an amazing event and gift from God! This morning I went to the 6am sunrise service. When we got out there, it was still really dark so we were using flashlights. By the time the service was over we could see okay. It was really overcast, so we never saw the sun, but to be in the Middle East where it all happened is amazing! I’m continually surprised of all I took for granted in the States besides just living conditions. Today at church I realized how much I took musicians at church for granted as we all sang a cappella and really low (due to the service being mainly guys). So now I’m at work plugging away, and it’s sad to miss out on the family meal at Aunt Jane’s, but such is the call of duty… At least I got to go to church and celebrate Easter Sunday in a really neat part of the world!!!
