Way better than college!

I’m still having fun out here. This morning I realized that I’m enjoying this deployment more than I ever liked college. Sad huh? People say college was the time of their life… College was all about spending money for classes, working 2 extra jobs, and ROTC. Here I only have 1 job, I like it a lot, and am able to make a difference. My current schedule is pretty much get up, work out, go to work, then go home and sleep. I don’t get a lot of free time, but that’s making everything here go by a lot faster. Every day is pretty much the same thing, just different work emergencies to figure out. I’m glad that I’m a people person, b/c there is no personal space here or getting away from people for quiet time that’s for sure! Tomorrow I get a full day off b/c I’m not taking my 4 day pass to go to Qatar. I don’t have anyone to go with and would rather be able to spread out the days here. I’m sooo excited to be able to relax tomorrow!
