Time is flying! Ok, so it’s only been 2 weeks, but it hardly feels like a week b/c I’ve been so busy here! I’m filling a job of someone 2 grades above me, and so it’s quite the challenge. I’ve briefed a couple of times now, and both times I’ve been able to provide correct info and was prepared. I’ve kinda made some other higher ranking people look stupid, so that’s interesting! It’s been nice to have access to one of the vehicles here b/c it gives a nice break from the monotonous office! It definitely makes me glad that I learned how to drive a stick before getting here, b/c that would have been a task in itself! This morning I was talking to my boss, and another boss was here, and heard me talking about what I’ve done, and he said “Gee you’ve only been here a week and look at this!” I am actually enjoying things, even though I have yet to get a day off. I feel like I just can’t take the time off because there is so much to learn, but then again when will the learning process be over? HA!
So I found Cadbury eggs here in the base exchange, and I bought a 4 pack b/c I thought I could eat them over a week or so. HA I’m on my second one today already b/c I just can’t resist them! I think they’re like my all time favorite candy, not to mention I just love Cadbury chocolate, even more so than Dove or even Godiva! It’ll be a good thing when Easter is over with! NO ONE send me any b/c I'll just eat them all and have a caffeine headache!
